Her hair was whisps of thin golden curls that were tied back with a purple ribbon. She was skipping up and down a long hill with another girl that looked to be her older sister. Both of them wearing yellow dresses that bounced as they leaped through the air. Their feet were bare. It gave me chills to watch their little toes squish into the cool mud underneath the fresh spring grass. Every step they took looked so effortless. Every giggle and screatch that came out of their lungs sounded like their minds were free from any worry or fear.
